I provide specialist support and assistance to counsel appointed to represent condemned prisoners on direct appeal before the California Supreme Court.

Appeared as Lead Counsel, Co-Counsel or Legal Consultant on numerous defence teams (M. Bralo, M. Nikolic, D. Mrdja, H.Bala; M. Stakic; B. Simic; D. Jokic, B. Plavsic and J-B Gatete.)

Taught international and comparative criminal law and legal research and writing in an International and European LLB program.

Participated in consultations with the ICC Registry and Prosecution and as Counsel in amicus proceedings before the ICC. Drafted position papers and educational materials advocating recognition of a voluntary bar association. Wrote, edited and produced a bi-monthly newsletter updating members on legal developments in cases before the Court.

Appointed by California Supreme Court to represent condemned clients in direct appeals and post-conviction challenges in capital murder cases.

Represented condemned inmates in post-conviction proceedings and assisted pro bonolegal teams representing condemned inmates.

Represented indigent defendants in misdemeanour and felony proceedings in D.C. Superior Court as part of the Georgetown Criminal Justice Clinic. Conducted the trial proceedings and wrote the appellate brief in Galberth v. United States, 590 A.2d 990 (D.C. 1991), a landmark case on the use of policeroadblocks within the District of Columbia. Taught weekly trial and investigation skills class for third year law students enrolled in the Criminal Justice Clinic; supervised student-conducted misdemeanour trials.
