Mags 'n More, Inc. is a supply chain and logistics company concentrating in the area of print distribution. We handle distribution for five different magazine titles located in 1,200-plus distribution points spread throughout the Southeastern United States. While serving in my capacity as EVP, I oversaw scheduling of drivers for our delivery routes, inventory analytics, along with route planning and mapping to improve the efficiency of our supply chain.

Design, plan and implement technology solutions for each of the three Boys and Girls Club centers managed by "The Boys & Girls Club of North Central Florida" - (Perry, Steinhatchee and the Jerkins Unit). Designed wireless networks region wide to accommodate 802.11g wireless at each center. Provide hardware and software support. Initiate and integrate technology planning, purchasing and IT solutions for each center. Provide technology training for both employees and students.

* Manage technology support for nine school sites totaling over 400 employees, 3500 students, and several thousand computers. * Maintain seven servers utilizing Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003. * Assist in Network architecture, topology design, implementation and deployment with the networks of each of the nine school sites utilizing predominantly a Cisco Ethernet solution consisting of multiple routers and switches. * Assist in implementation and maintenance of a Windows Exchange server solution to provide e-mail for the Taylor School District employees. * Provide data backup and recovery solutions for employees with multiple redundancies. * Effectively transition from a Windows 98/NT environment to a Windows XP/Server 2003 environment with Active Directory architecture. * Assist and implement employee technology training and in-service. * Interactively integrate technology into the classroom. * Field test educational software and hardware. * Provide support for the MIS department’s fellow IT technicians

* Lift21 project facilitator for Taylor Middle School * Assist in pricing, purchasing and logistics for implementing LIFT21, a million dollar technology initiative provided by the state to Taylor County. * Initiate and integrate technology planning and IT solutions to help pioneer this groundbreaking project in which we issued every 8th and 9th grade child in the county with a laptop. * Design and provide a system for inventory and logistics for the 500+ laptops associated with the grant. * Ensure that each student and employee had immediate support for technology-related issues, including hardware, software, and training. * Design and implement a Microsoft Sharepoint environment for employee and student collaboration and information exchange. * Deploy a wide scale Cisco secure wireless network environment to provide wireless internet for the applicable laptops.

* Functioned as the lead instructor for evening classes in the grant funded Project Go program. Project Go was billed as a "Community Technology Outreach" that offered hands-on educational technology programs targeted primarily at seniors and minorities who would otherwise lack access to these resources. * Duties and responsibilities included: * Functioning as lead instructor for evening technology classes. * Developing and implementing curriculum for the course. * Administering testing to establish incoming benchmarks and monitor academic progress. * Assisting in community-wide program promotion and marketing.

Manage all aspects of marketing and brand management. Oversee business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, implementing sales plans and managing staff. Develop and launch one of the largest interactive social media presences in our market (Woodsnwater.net and WNW Facebook). Edit and layout the fishing section (both salt and fresh water) in each monthly issue. Coordinate breaking news/press releases with the Governor's office and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Improve company marketability and profitability by researching, identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities, improving product image branding and coordinating new product development. Oversee all aspects of product development strategy and explore possible new markets.
