I completed all round admin duties from HGV/Car MOT’s invoicing to school private hire bookings. I used 3 different database systems and all Microsoft applications daily. On the accounts side, I processed payments on a sales ledger (card and cash). I worked in a very busy main office where I sold holidays and day trips to the general public. I was also a receptionist who took and transfers calls for the whole company.

* Took bookings for coach holidays in the UK and Europe as well as day trips. * Answered the telephone, spoke to customers in person and dealt with all enquires and complaints. * Changed the display of current holidays in the window and in the shop daily. * Took transactions, credit card payments and cash as well as dealt with the private hire customers.

* Covered the office reception, spoke to parents and visitors on the telephone, via email and in person. * Completed all admin tasks for teachers, management and trust members which included: funding applications, exclusions, balancing lunch and trip money, monitoring absences, attendance, illness etc.

I worked across 3 venues, Candy King, Fun Shop and a Hotdog Kiosk. Responsible for collecting keys and opening up shops, keeping venues clean and tidy, safe for public use. Kept hygiene and food temperature records accurately. Closed the venues and returned keys to management.

* Worked closely with a child with very complexed medical condition, Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus. * Worked with other children giving them an awareness and understanding of why the child was different to avoid bullying. * Worked with groups of children so that the child was in a inclusive environment throughout the day. * Adapted work for all levels and abilities an also catheterised the child daily and administered medication.

* I worked with a number of children as 1:1 teaching assistant over both schools. * I mainly worked with ADHD and speech and language issues. * I developed strategies for the children so they could take part in all curriculum activities and followed their individual assessment plans and set targets to work towards.

* Booked in patients for their eye appointments and checked patients’ personal details in a confidential way. * Pre-tested the patients for the optometrists by taking photos, scans, pressures and autos of their eyes. * Fed back information that was declared during the pre-tests to the optometrist before the sight test. * Collected patients from optometrists’ rooms using a three way handover. Took measurements and ordered prescription glasses. Accounts Assistant (Purchase Ledger) – Maurice Hill Transport, Kirkby in Ashfield. I checked all invoices are correctly priced and communicate with different departments for confirmation of delivery. I entered invoices/credits notes into the Sage Accounts System. Phone/email supplies with queries. I completed entries within Excel and balance ledgers. I answered all telephone calls coming into the accounts office and transfer call where necessary. I checked HGV driver’s vehicle/trailer defect sheets and record details on Excel spreadsheets.
