Responsible for prevention commissioning, engagement, and quality.

Currently leading on the commissioning of community based adult prevention and wellbeing services across 7 lower tier authority areas. This is a joint project between Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), Public Health & Adult Social Care which aims to radically change customer pathways and experiences by implementing a joined up, community based response to physical, social and mental wellbeing. The services being commissioned include low level support/advice/information, health checks, housing advice, support planning etc. The aim is to develop service responses that are more holistic and person-centred that capture needs at the earliest opportunity. Previously responsible for Supporting People services and leading on market change to develop innovative approaches to community based support that have neutrality in terms of tenure etc. Responsible for significant levels of strategic decommissioning and 'market shaping' to enable stakeholders including the VCS to engage with change and the implications of both current and future legislation.

Herefordshire Council is the local authority serving the county of Herefordshire in the UK. It is responsible for many key services including education, highways and planning, social services and economic regeneration along with council tax and domestic refuse collection.
