Developed Java code generator for DMTF CIM administration of systems resulting in a 70% reduction in development effort as measured by both SLOC and man-hours required. Output included strongly typed frameworks for C++ and Java as well as documentation. It is used as the basis for admin development for the Tape, San Virtual Controller (SVC), DS 6000 and DS 8000 storage systems. I was the lead for performance analysis, which resulted in a 15x improvement over the previous version. I just completed a native iPad quoting and tracking application for Con-way Freight (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/con-way-freight-tools-for-ipad/id488304472?mt=8). My roles for this project include architecting the business logic, web service, and UI as well as mentoring other developers in iOS and Objective-C. This application is for use by Con-way's customers and it is considered an important component of Con-way's sales initiative. Another product, "Quick Scope," was launched in April 2011. Quick Scope is a native oscilloscope gui for iOS paired with a multithreaded Java web service for the Vernier Labquest interfaces. Quick Scope maximizes the usefulness of the Vernier’s products by allowing multiple users to share the same interface wirelessly for realtime data acquisition.
