I was part of a team that was directed by the company to find cost saving and optimisation for the business. I worked with stakeholders on identifying opportunities and pursuing these ideas into projects that delivered value to the business. I managed many large and complex projects, including projects such as the construction of roads, major upgrade of a fleet management system and the installation of a 2-way radio communications network. I developed my skills in project management, producing cost models and analysing data to be able to deliver the best value for the business.

Active member of the Mine Emergency Response Team for both surface and underground mining.

I was responsible for the operational short term planning which required significant time and stakeholder management skills. I was able to think on my feet, making decisions based on the best available information. Additionally I developed new planning techniques, standardised processes and implemented new planning software to improve the short term planning.

I was recruited to be involved with setting up of the mine survey department at Prominent Hill and be involved in subsequent day to day operations. I was able to work safely within close proximity to large mining equipment, interact with stakeholders, write documentation & procedures, implement new surveying technologies and be proficient with design software.

My primary purpose in this role was to lead the contract management of the largest OZ Minerals contract, the open pit mining contractor. I worked independently with tight deadlines and shifting priorities, had strong commercial negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders. Additionally I provided contract management support for all other open pit mining contracts, undertook contract and data analysis to provide value generation and cost saving opportunities for OZ Minerals.

Leading a team of engineers to govern and modify Fire Protection System and undertake Technical Studies.

* On secondment from Inside Infrastructure to review the dewatering for the underground mine. Undertaking the following: * Communication with key stakeholders to determine best practices * Developing a short to mid term dewatering strategy * Implementation of key projects to deliver "quick wins".
