GTA: Responsible for coordinating the MSc Urban Development Planning programme. Responsible for housing policy research and analysis. This included commissioning and delivering a strategic housing market assessment; developing a self and custom-build housing strategy; advising on the preparation of a council wide housing strategy; and providing policy briefings for senior officers and elected Councillors

Coordinated research, monitoring and reporting functions for an affordable urban housing, basic services and capacity building programme operating in 15 countries worldwide; facilitated knowledge exchange between network partners; strengthened strategic relationships with the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida); contributed to securing multi-million pound funding agreements through grant writing, donor presentations and business case development; worked with communications team to profile audiences and develop strategic advocacy and marketing campaign; and designed and facilitated conference, workshop & exhibition events

Worked with public and private sector clients to deliver urban design projects at scales ranging from small residential schemes through to multi-phased, mixed-use regeneration programmes; prepared vision statements, masterplans and design codes; and facilitated public consultation / engagement events

Coordinated document control procedures for the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park project (Transformation Phase); prepared progress reports and presentations for mid and end of phase review stages; and provided research and technical support to the design team.

Secured Vodafone World of Difference funding for a research project providing policy and advocacy support to an international network of community based organisations working to improve housing conditions for the urban poor. The project analysed affordable housing policy and design precedents to evaluate their potential transferability.

Designed and curated a website sharing best practice and resources in youth-led international development; used social media to build an online presence and data analytics to monitor and evaluate impact. During my editorship, the website was recognised by the Guardian Development Network.

Provided communications support during the launch of a UNHCR sponsored school assistance grant scheme for child refugees; prepared press releases, speeches and media monitoring reports; assisted with organising and running events and managed public and media enquiries.
