Imagine! was established in 1963 as a private, not-for-profit organization and as the first community-centered board (CCB) in Colorado. A CCB is a local area’s single point of entry into local, state and federally funded programs for people with developmental disabilities in a community. Imagine! is currently one of 20 CCBs in Colorado.In addition to serving as a state CCB, Imagine! also provides services designed to incorporate people with developmental, cognitive and physical challenges into the fabric of their communities. Services include educational and therapeutic services, job training and placement, recreation and leisure activities, opportunities for community living, behavioral health services, technology solutions and support for families.Imagine! serves individuals with developmental delays and disabilities. Imagine!’s services begin at birth and last throughout the lives of Imagine! consumers. A developmental disability is a disability that occurs before a person reaches 22 years of age and creates a substantial and lasting handicap for the person. Developmental disabilities can result from conditions such as cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism or other neurological impairments when those impairments hamper general intellectual functioning.

Responsible for recruitment activities focusing on attracting and efficiently hiring qualified and competent staff. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating strategies for retention and recruitment. This position will establish, monitor and analyze the effectiveness and appropriateness of recruitment and retention actions plans. Develop tools and processes necessary for the effective retention and recruitment plan. Responsible for tracking quality, satisfaction and cost outcomes (relating to Recruitment & Retention) as well as establishing responses to those outcomes.
