  System expert, qualified Engine Room Supervisor, on lead ship of the new Ford Class aircraft carrier. Performed preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical propulsion plant systems as well as primary nuclear systems. Previously responsible for establishing material condition and readiness program on the work center level for secondary propulsion plant. Qualified 13 sailors Engine Room Supervisor and ensured training requirements were met as Training Petty Officer for work center. Currently coordinating work control packages for shipyard work on ship's force owned systems prior to commissioning and serving as the Reactor Department Repair Parts Petty Officer. Watch standing consisted of rigorous first in class testing of a new reactor plant design and propulsion plant configuration as well as the testing and implementation of digital instrumentation and control systems. Significant experience was gained in operating a distributed display control system.
