Regional Director within Iraq for Aegis' “flagship” contract with the US DoD, worth over USD 300m, during the height of the insurgency and reconstruction effort.• Accountable for ensuring Aegis’ services were delivered professionally to the US DoD • Responsible for the day to day management of 520 security consultants (Expats and Iraqi Nationals), spread across 6 separate locations from Southern Baghdad to Basrah.• Provided continuous commercial and operational assessment for the Aegis Directorate in Baghdad/ London as to the client’s requirements, as well as the political and military atmospherics within the Region.• Provided detailed risk analysis and operational advice for client and Operations Managers across Southern Iraq.
