* Based in Oak Ridge TN, Nucsafe develops and markets radiation detection systems targeted at safeguards and security applications. Some notable projects I worked on: * Collaborated on development of core, cross-platform sensor data acquisition and analysis libraries written in C#. * Architected, developed, and maintained a Linux based embedded sensor interface and management platform, including a custom-built Linux distribution and firmware update process. Originally developed in C/C++ this was later ported to C# running on Mono. This was a mission critical component used in many of Nucsafe’s systems. * Helped create and evaluate algorithms for radiation detection and classification. * Conceived and led development of Nucsafe’s primary sensor diagnostic and analysis tool written in C#. * Developed firmware for an embedded TCP/IP serial bridge using an LPC2106 microcontroller. * Served on the ANSI N42.42 working group which defined the internationally accepted data format standard for radiation measurement instruments.

Founded in the late 90’s Network Storage Solutions was an early entrant into the market of network attached storage. As the company’s first dedicated QA person, I developed and documented test procedures and developed functional and performance test suites using off the shelf component and custom tools and scripts.

CalTech provides IT and networking solutions for small to medium sized businesses in West Texas. There I learned about computer networks and picked up a few certifications (A+, CCNA, MCSE).
