Taught wide variety of classes in computer engineering, including courses on operating systems, computer architecture, advanced operating system implementation, embedded systems and microcontrollers, FPGA and reconfigurable computing, computer security, and network engineering; as well as classical artificial intelligence, and special topics in semantic web, machine learning, and neuromorphic computing. Taught courses using C, C++, Java, Verilog, LISP, and Assembly languages. Managed senior engineering capstone projects for the past 12 years. Created first programs in computer engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering in the PA state system of higher education. As department chair, participated in industrial outreach. Supervised more than 30 undergraduate research projects, and supported students through publication process. Managed ABET continuous improvement and process. Awarded more than $300,000 in grant funding.

Created the printed circuit board (PCB) fabrication and testing lab. Taught students OrCAD/Allegro schematic capture, board design, and circuit board fabrication techniques.

Teach courses across the computer science curriculum at the undergraduate and graduate level, including Coding in C, C++, and Java; Algorithms, Computer Organization, Architecture, Operating Systems, Embedded Systems, Reconfigurable Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Database Management Systems; and Web Server Programming. Directed undergraduate research projects and publications.

Developed database warehouse and front-end information systems. Managed entire back-end technologies: Solaris & Linux OS, Oracle & MySQL databases, LAMP stack, backups, and networks. Software engineering in C, C++, and PERL. Optimized system to make it fault-tolerant and optimized to achieve 99.99% reliability target. Used warehouse to promote KDD applications, developed Bayesian Network based machine learning enrollment management models to support data driven decisions. Developed custom software in C / embedded PLSQL to automate systems administration tasks for the Voyager ILS. Developed custom RAID solution for high performance data access. Created a Willow interface to the PALS system, installed Linux infrastructure for library systems.
