My responsibilities as a GTA included delivering weekly tutorials, marking weekly problem sheets, discussing lecture notes with the students. Modules taught include: MATLAB, Numerical Analysis, Vectors and Applications, Introduction to Probability and Statistics, Foundations of Mathematics.

I worked in the Schlumberger Information Solutions division. I was responsible for developing and maintaining petroleum reservoir simulator ECLIPSE, responding to client feedback, monitoring automated regression testing system, assisting in the design of testing plans for new development features and documenting new developments.

I worked on the EPSRC funded project "Boundary Integral Equation Methods for High Fre- quency Scattering Problems" with industrial partners BAE Systems, UK Met Office, the Institute of Cancer Research UK and Schlumberger. I was responsible for developing, analysing and implementing novel hybrid numerical-asymptotic methods for solving high frequency acoustic scattering problems.
