* Provide over the phone support to contractors regarding best suited products for current needs of project(s). * Research new products that are more cost effective with best possible durabilities and qualities at economical prices. * Visit customer and non-customer job sites to asses problems and provide economical long term solutions. * Contact contractors & design firms in local area in an effort to introduce new and/or more economical options to add to their line of product choices for projects. * Work with various DOT's to get coloring agents, curing compounds, & sealers added to approved product lists. * Train contractors on proper stamping, staining, and sealing methods in an effort to make projects more profitable. * Create cost/sf spreadsheets allowing contractors to provide more accurate bids. * Accurately estimate and submit bids for new projects.

Setup and sent out competitive bids for materials and contractors for substation projects. Executed new purchase orders, as well as change orders for materials and contractors.

* Create new drawings from vendor drawings & sketches * Redraw missing & unreadable old drawings using vector * Use Microstation V8i or Autocad 2010 for all drawings * Share techniques, best practices, & other helpful tactics with coworkers to effectively move through projects with few mistakes. * Balance multiple projects with different deadlines * Coordinate with drafting team on upcoming projects based on priority status

FirstEnergy, Energizing The Future The multiple year program is designed to reinforce the current electrical systems the Ohio Edison, Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, Toledo Edison and Penn Power Regions. The main focus of the initial construction effort will be the 69 - 138 kilovolt (kV) transmission power lines and substations; these to enhance the reliability within the existing infrastructure and service regions. The program is expected to be expanded into other FirstEnergy service territories during the next several years.
