I have worked in education almost all my life; initially working in education branding and marketing and then later moving on to the general management of a variety of independent colleges. Since 2001 I have been closely involved with the Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality, helping to develop its strength as the leading specialist niche qualifications provider in the hospitality, culinary, travel and tourism sectors. CTH is an exciting organisation to be involved with and I very much feel that my work here makes a big difference. The industries we serve are huge and their need for high quality trained staff almost limitless. Our business goal is to ensure 'Gold Standard qualifications' for the hospitality, culinary, travel and tourism industries and that is what drives us. It is our passion. As Director of Partnerships my role is to manage our industry relationships, as well as to look after special projects such as the specific qualification partnerships we undertake from time to time with leading sector employers. It's an exciting and varied role, and one that is an important part of CTH's commitment to keeping in close touch with the industries we serve.
