Shahid led the Entertainment and Information Services sub-sectors for BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting), including sales, marketing and PR, development of the firm’s Solutions and Thought Leadership in the Digital Content space, as well as delivery of strategy and technology engagements. He managed CxO relationships and engagements at clients, including: Apple, Warner Music, Thomson and Rodale.

Shahid led the Media Practice for a digital consultancy incubated at Harvard Business School, with $100M in funding from GTCR. He led the sales and delivery of engagements to clients such as BMG, Hearst, NBC, RIAA, Bertelsmann and Microsoft, as well as start-up ventures such as Digeo and ez2get. He also developed thought leadership for the practice, forged strategic partnerships with technology providers and Venture Capital firms.

Since the acquisition of MAG by Arthur D. Little (ADL), Shahid Khan has been a Partner in ADL's Telecommunications, Information Technology, Media & Electronics (TIME) practice, while continuing to operate as the Managing Partner of MAG, which is now an ADL company.

Shahid participated in and managed Strategy, Operations and IT projects, working with senior executives at leading Media, Telecom and Financial Services firms such as the New York Times, MCI, Smith Barney and Barclay’s.

Shahid serves on the Board of Directors of NATPE, a global content association and professional membership organization dedicated to shaping the future of content through global marketplaces and conferences, screenings, awards, and networking events; all specially curated for the content industry. Shahid served as Senior Partner, Head of Media Industry at IBB Consulting (now Accenture). At IBB, he managed CxO relationships and key engagements at some of the top Cable MSOs, TV Networks and Studios, including: Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Rogers, Sony Pictures Television, Sony Music, Showtime, Hearst, NBCU, Disney, IAC, CBS, etc.

Shahid led P&L for IBM Global Services (IGS) focusing on East Coast based clients in the Media/Entertainment Industry. Led a team of nine Sales Executives and directed additional sales and delivery teams from the various arms of IGS, namely, Business Consulting Services, Integrated Technology Services, eBusiness Hosting and Strategic Outsourcing. Managed executive relationships and overseaw sales and delivery of engagements to major clients such as Viacom, Scholastic, New York Times, Bertelsmann, etc.
