Summer internship in the Organic Materials Innovation Centre labs supervised by Professor Mike Turner. Worked on the development of new molecules displaying thermally activated delayed fluorescence, particularly on the optimisation of a step in a multi-step synthesis. Experienced in synthetic organic chemistry, particularly in organic workups.

Lead a team of 10-15 people to deliver fast, high quality service. Experienced in quick problem solving and leading in an extremely fast paced environment. Responsible for employee training, including health and safety and food hygiene training.

Performed a range of front of house positions with different responsibilities every shift, requiring fast learning of roles. Roles included bartending and waiting.

Leading a small team of sales assistants, focused on meeting performance indicators (KPIs) and sales targets. Knowledgeable about products and experienced in advising customers of products to meet their requirements. Also responsible for cash handling procedures and staff training.
