Provide Builders Risk Insurance to the U.S. market

A role created in order to develop and grow the Travelers Multinational offering; focusing on end to end process, procedures, efficiencies, and transparency, with the goal of taking the many different complexities of a global insurance program (e.g. multiple and disparate workflows, many different issuing companies in many different countries, each with unique requirements, tax and other booking and issuance-related obstacles) and simplifying the experience for the customer. Started as the only Operations resource on the team; the role evolved into an Operations “Project Leader” with oversight responsibilities for a team of four.

Accomplishments:Reporting/Analysis:• Collaborated with various stakeholders to ascertain, analyze, and validate business/systems requirements in order to meet organizational needs.• Worked with stakeholders to prioritize requirements effectively based upon business value, risks and constraints.• Provided a monthly, detailed bordereaux comprising of premium allocation to Bond Finance, Travelers Insurance Company Limited (TICL) Finance, Lloyd’s Syndicate Finance, Travelers Insurance Company of Canada Finance and Travelers Account Service Analyst (Richmond)Operations:• Partnered with the Director of Global Solutions within International Fronting in order to implement and refine processing infrastructure and workflows which are adaptable to an expanding book of business.• Ensured business requirements are explicit and concise by both business users and solution delivery teams.• Communicated with Finance/Accounting stakeholders any necessary adjustments by providing clarification and information.• Participated in the Global Non-Admitted training with resident experts from offices around the United States.Subject Matter Expert (SME)- (Continuing) Finance:• Pursued outstanding payment reconciliation by communicating effectively with stakeholders in Underwriting and Finance/Accounting.

Accomplishments: Operations:• Entered incoming policy submissions into Travelers database• Refined and monitored the mailroom and mail delivery• Organized and consolidated the physical file rooms prior to going paperless• Traveled to various offices in order to implement structure and organization for file storage.

Accomplishments:• Maintained and update filing, mailing and database systems, either manually or using a computer.• Addressed inquiries and provided updates via telephone to both clients and debtors.
