Mentored and documented best practices for staff xPression developers using the xDesgin, xPresso, xAdmin and xDashboard tools for their contracts, applications and schedules. Converted CompuSet correspondence document package to xPression xPublish engine. Worked with staff developers to advise them on xPression XML data source configuration and best practices. Configure and troubleshoot new and existing connectivity to print facility utilizing xAdmin and scripting.

Senior Systems Print Architect within LM’s $525 million, seven-year contract to provide IT support to the Social Security Administration (SSA). Working with a small team, tasked to design a new Enterprise Print Architecture (EPA), including document composition service to meet the needs of 1,700 SSA central, regional and field offices and processing centers that produce upwards of 56 million annual print transactions. Goals are to create a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), increasing reliability and traceability, replace older technologies such as SNA and assembly language applications, recommend document composition and output management solutions to replace problematic systems, and position SSA for future technologies.

xPression Technical Lead for Notices Team utilizing EMC/Document Sciences xPression document composition software in a Solaris 11 and Wintel/WebSphere 6.1/Oracle 11G environment. Primary duties are to support the xPression application development, SIT, DR and production environments, troubleshoot and assist developers in problem resolution, perform performance testing and enhancement, and create and maintain documentation describing the environment. Additional duties are to develop, edit and maintain notices as required, utilize existing specifications to determine rules for coding appropriate content and applying formatting to notices. Participate in notice review to assist in QA process. Participate and contribute to scheduled Notice Design meetings. Assist and mentor colleagues in xPression functions, notice design, troubleshooting, and methods to increase efficiency of code.
