To lead , manage and develop the QA department in order to ensure that the site produces food that is safe , legal, meet quality attributes, customer specification and COP. Provide guidance and on-going support to facilitate compliance with quality and regulatory policies, Food Safety Programs (HACCP) procedures and product specifications with primary focus on factory floor activities. Manage and develop a team consisting of three Quality Assurance Technologists. Working closely with Production, Planning and Hygiene & measure compliance against defined corporate and customer policies, Quality and product specifications through independent audit. Acting as a champion for food safety across the site, and working in a factory based capacity; promote a high standard of awareness and understanding of policies, procedures and product specifications within all shop floor departments in order to inline with BRC & customer standards.
