Worked closely with the designer and pattern cutter on fitting and sealing new boutique women's jackets, dresses, blouses, skirts and shorts to seal for production along with creating graded size charts, also offering technical advise on new designs. This also involved foreseeing make issues and improving production to reduce and limit customer returns.

I worked on the Today's Woman department fitting and sealing all styles for the range. Working closely with the designer and buyer ensuring that garments were fit for purpose and repersented the garment in the photo of the catalogue. This included monitoring returns to improve performance, qualitiy and standards going forward.

Working with pattern cutter, sample room and production team to ensure that the quality and make of Men's woven swimwear and shirting is to the required standard. Creating size chats to be followed for production out of Vietnam , and quality testing samples

* Duties: * Fitting with the relievant designer on styles from proto to sealing stage advising pattern adjustments both written and visual, looking at construction and internal finished to improve the over look of the garment for selling. * Sending comments and sketches direct to the relievent suppliers in Delhi and HongKong. * Checking Test reports. * Checking lab dips, trims and bulk fabrics to approve for bulk production ensuring that they match and sit with our colour standards. * Chasing fit samples to achieve quick turn around of samples and sealing to maintain delivery dates to the critical path. * Visiting the factories to ensure that production is correct to our sealer and standards. * Making commercial decisions on a day to day basis and liasing with management. * Looking a potenical issues with styles that could have return problems and impliment ways to prevent or limit them wihout spoiling the design. * Holding returns meetings, discussing and actioning solutions to reduce the returns rate going forward.Spot checking stock from the warehouse,

During my time in Scouting I have been at the same Scout group but increased my involvement within the Scouting movement having taken on the following roles District Cub Scout leader - part of District Event team and more recently Assistant Cub leader to the District commissioner. All these roles involve ensuring the the Cubs in our group and District have a great experience in what they do. This is to ensure that they achieve life skills and prepare themselves for adulthood.I have helped arrange and run district camps which includes Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers. Arranging our own group camps with Cubs and Scouts. With District Cubs I have arranged many trips to museums , hikes, nature reserves as well as crafting, cooking and skills events .
