Working in a small team based in Western Australia we were responsible for telecommunications component of the BER (Building Education Revolution) project. The BER was a $16.2 Billion project to modernise schools through the delivery of infrastructure. Worked with contractors, builders, schools and the Department of Education to deliver a comprehensive communications solution for the BER and NSSCF (National Secondary School Computer Fund) project.

Utilising my technical ability in fibre optic networking and tooling I was able to provide technical training and information to clients enabling them to make more informed decisions when it came to their fibre optic requirements. I was tasked with developing and maintaining my own client base as well as assisting other sales people with technical presentations.

Responsible for Sales and Support in Western Australia and South Australia. Leveraging off of my technical abilities I was able to provide a high level of support to my clients. This involved providing detailed design schedules and drawings for end to end solutions in the Data Centre, FTTX and LAN environment. Provided training to clients on the products and services offered by Corning but also on up to date Australian standards.
