PayGo is a third-party service provider specializing in an end-to-end PrePay Electric Service to utilities for their customers throughout the US. The advanced process allows Patented technology and business processes to be placed in the electric meter (or on the communications module) to evaluate the customer's real-time account balance and usage as frequently as every 10-seconds.As a complement to this service, PayGo is a Merchant Services Provider and processes all types of payment in virtually every format/method available for utilities for Prepay and Postpaid customers. All payments are immediately loaded in the customer's account and/or meter. This solution provides the first and only truly remote end-to-end or meter-to-cash product in the market.PayGo introduced a patented cycle payment product called "CheckOut"​ whereby PayGo provides the customer with a unique barcode which can be stored on their smart phone. The customer simply walks up to the checkout lane at one of 70,000 plus retail stores locations throughout the US and scans their utility barcode which allows the customer to pay their utility bill at the checkout lane in a matter of seconds and receive immediate credit to their utility account. PayGo's service agreements encompass 25 million customers of some of the largest utilities in the US and abroad (www.PayGoUtilities.com). PayGo then reconnects the meter within seconds.

Developed a utility billing and collection software solution and provided a Managed Services Solution for utilities and the apartment industry. Performed remote meter reading for electric and water services, generated monthly billing statements, printed, mail and collected customer payments. We also performed these services for the deregulated gas and electric industry throughout the US. Sold the company in 2001.

Marketing, sales and client acquisition.

Commissioner of the City/County Public Works department. Managed the 525 person department which consisted of Engineering & Planning, Traffic, Sanitation, Water and Wastewater plants, and Streets and Roads Departments. Responsibilities also include the expansion of major projects such as water/waster water plant expansions and highway projects. Answered directly to the Mayor and to a 15 member council.
