Managed marketing communications department of 26 employees and 3 direct reports. Supervised and directed all advertising, marketing, and public relations. Company grew three fold under my marketing direction. Developed strategic plans, budget forecasts and departmental metrics. This was an amazing place to work, cutting edge process improvement and business process. A lot of travel, and met some great people there. Reported to the CEO (David Braunstein), great guy with massive experience in management, learned quite a bit from this position.

Managed all communications for this medical, industrial and scientific company. We manufactured everyrthing from eyeglasses and medical implants and pharma, to motion picture projectors and sound systems. Introduced the first digital sound for motion pictures, Cinema Digital Sound, featured on dozens of movies in the late 80's. Learned a massive amount here, about business, manufacturing, and marketing to vertical groups. Reported to the president/CEO, Richard Wood, who was a fantastic manager.

Created the first royalty free stock photography service. Turned the photography world on it's head. Sold over 2,000,000 photographs. Fun company. This business model is being used extensively today.

Developed the first high quality, consumer direct marketing program. Worked on a lot of marketing productions, film, radio, billboards, direct mail. Started this company because I couldn't seem to make enough money at the jobs I was qualified for. Took sales from zero to over 1mm within 2 years.

Handled marketing, retail marketing for Discover Stores, budgets.

Handled nationl direct mail program. Directed delivery of over 50,000,000 DM pieces a year.

Manages the largest networking group with over 410,000 members. The eMarketing Association (eMA) is the world's largest international association of emarketing professionals. Members include governments, companies, professionals and students involved with the emarketing arena. The eMA provides marketing resources, services, research, certifications, educational programs and events to its members and the marketing community. The eMA works with a number of organizations, companies and governments on issues related to eCommerce, multi-channel marketing and legislative issues. The eMA has members in over 40 countries around the world, and sponsors or manages over 30 events a year. Over 9,000 marketers have enrolled in eMA online courses and thousands of eMarketing professionals and students have achieved certification status.
