Richard has held a senior business development position with the Membertou Corporate Division since 2008 and has been a key member of the senior management team. Richard studied sales and marketing in the executive program at the University of British Columbia. His experience spans a wide range of industries including transportation, distribution, construction and technology. In Richard’s previous work experience with a large environmental company, he worked in Aboriginal relations where he helped to bridge the gap between First Nations and non-native corporations. He worked with Aboriginal communities to understand and develop their local economies by building their capacity to supply labor, equipment and support services to regional projects.
