Test and certify MRs (maintenance releases or software updates) and Security MRs by executing the regression plan and the test cases impacted by the MR scope. Monitor customer-reported issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop test methods to improve overall customer satisfaction. Manage the process of sample distribution, activations, software upgrades / flashing and managing the test samples inventory for both SIM cards and Mobile Devices. Define the procedures and coordinate the certification process for all the markets using existing local resources or via outsourcing. Optimize the Certification costs by selecting insourced or outsourced approach depending on each market conditions. Serve as subject matter expert in emerging technologies, handset technologies, and feature implementation based on engagement of various technical and non-technical groups from inside or outside the company (vendors) at a market or regional level. Provide 3rd level support to Operations and quality assurance activities thru Tier3 SPOC on Mobile Devices and SIM card related matters.
