As a Structural Engineer, I gained valuable experience working in consortiums led by some of the world's leading consulting firms, including Stantec (MWH) and Nippon-Koei, on mega hydropower projects such as the Neelum Jhelum Hydropower Project and Dasu Hydropower Project. WAPDA was the client for this project.As structural engineer, was responsible for the design of various components of the project: - Underground power house with 4 Nos. 242 MW Francis turbines & Transformer hall building.- 525kV Switchyard and 11kV Substations. Administration building and colony residences.- Review of shop drawings from contractor for underground powerhouse cavern, transformer hall, switchyard, busbar tunnels, intake structure, tailrace outlet, dam structure, penstock, and control building.Project Name: Dasu Hydropower Project, 4320 MW (USD 9billion)The project consultant was a JV between Niponkoei, DOLSAR, DMC, NDC, & PES. WAPDA was the client for this project.As structural engineer, was responsible for following: - Worked on the analysis and design of Power house building using SAP 2000. Analysis included the Machine bays’ frame structure as well as the shell and solid components. Carrying out the design of the frames, shells and solid elements.- Preparation of Design report for the powerhouse structure.- Preparation of the reinforcement drawings for the powerhouse building. - Making Bill of quantities for the powerhouse building.

Developed an Engineering Cementitious Composite to Enhance Bridge Approach Slab Durability at University of Wisconsin, Madison in collaboration with Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
