Role and responsibilities included marketing support ; management of institutional relationships with Health Authorities and Scientific Groups as well as activites within the IDI healthcare group ( IDI dermatologic Hospital !,St Charles general hospital and Nerviano Medical Science R&D). In this position Dr Reggio worked also to achieve the certification of “Quality Management System” (ISO 9001:2000) for the Company. From 2002 to May 2004 Dr Reggio was appointed Medical Director of an Institute for Healthcare Management and Scientific Research (IRCCS) in the field of brain aging, mental retardation and rare diseases.

Dr.Reggio was appointed Access to market Strategy Director to support the Company's business in the vaccine area. In the context of his position Dr.Reggio has the responsibility to lead the following teams: Public Affairs,Communication,Health Economics and the field group of Interregional Access to market Managers.S,Reggio became member of the new italian Public Affairs Association (PAA)

Dr Reggio was accountable to implement and manage scientific, economic and institutional aspects for the introduction in Europe and in Italy of innovative drugs in ophthalmology (glaucoma, uveitis,macular degeneration) as well as neurodegenerative diseases. The institutional activities included the development of partnership and collaborative groups with Universities, public and private research organization, national and regional/local Health Authorities and Decision Makers. Drug pricing and reimbursement and Market Access aspects were also included, with particular reference to innovative drugs and orphan drugs/diseases. Dr Reggio has represented the Company within Farmindustria (the Italian association of the Pharma industries) and within the Italian American Pharmaceutical Group (IAPG) Role and responsibilities of Dr Reggio also included as director the management and coordination of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Departments.
