Degree Works DBA for the University System Board Of Regents providing technical and functional support for 13 Colleges in the State Of Georgia. Maintain the Oracle and Degree Works installations/upgrades for 14 colleges in the University Sytem. Also makes sure that each database is working on day to day bases. Day to day duties consist of monitoring each schools database using OEM, Applying Oracle PSU patches and assisting the customers with the Degree Works application problems.

Responsible for overseeing and maintaining three levels of Relational Supply (Unit,Force,Mal) and 4 Tac-3 servers which supports Suadps. Job Duties included doing restores, backups and database cleanup on each Unix server. Also responsible for configuring 6 Windows 200 servers to be used as primary doman controllers and backup domain controllers for Rupply. Duties included updating each server with latest patches, also getting with the Application Administrator to make sure each client can connect to it's respected server. Duties also included supporting and troubleshotting over 600 clients utilizing Windows 98 and Windows 2000 that used Rsupply and Suadps. Assisted with the conversion from a .COM to an .MIL site which consisted of converting from public to private IP Address.

Duties included providing customer support for over 2000 users with a satisfaction rating of 90%. Manage and maintain Microsoft network user login accounts and Exchange user mailboxes for over 2000 users on a 7x24x365 network setup. Generate custom reports for users, utilizing AZ7 and modify files/programs using vi editor. Assist and train junior administrators on their duties as an administrator also Compose daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly system maintenance status reports for upper management personnel. Maintained magnetic tape library with over 700 data base tapes, and application upgrades. Assisted with the upgrading and implementation of Windows 95 servers and workstations to Windows NT servers and workstations. Also ran normal batch jobs using Suadps and Nalcomis 2nd/3rd Shift Supervisor/Unix Administrator/Computer Operator. Also did daily, weekly, monthly backups on Tac-3 servers. Assisted with the conversion and implementation of site from Suadps to Rsupply including converting each workstation to Windows NT.
