As part of the Global Leadership Team for Oracle Social Cloud, I helped build the company's first modern marketing software business. My team was responsible for integrating and selling the social acquisitions (Involver, Vitrue and Collective Intellect) and combining the portfolio into the broader Cloud platform (RightNow, Siebel, ATG, and later Eloqua, BlueKai, Responsys). Oracle Social Cloud is a pillar of the broader CX and Marketing Cloud programs. In addition to post M&A planning and coordinating activities with various executives and product leads, my key responsibilities were external and included: Helping Fortune 500 CMOs and CIOs, and their teams, figure out how to redesign their organizations and business processes to meet modern customer expectations.
