• Led development of machine learning based algorithms for consumer medical systems.• Led development of the algorithms for Scanadu Scout, a pioneer mobile cuff-less system inferring several vitals (blood pressure, heart / pulse rate, blood oxygenation / SpO2, core body temperature) from a short scan of bio-signals (including ECG and PPG). An investigational version of this systems was released to 7,000+ Indiegogo backers in spring 2015.• Led development of the algorithms for Scanadu Flo, an at home kit for urinalysis.

• Led development of technology for new generations of Thermage systems providing noninvasive RF skin therapy. Developed the system architecture. Wrote system requirements and specifications.• Architected a new expandable RF power control system supporting multi-frequency and multimodal energy delivery utilizing advanced RF technologies such as: automatic impedancematching, remote current balancing, RF multiplexing and high precision power control.• Invented a new patterned electrode technology, which gives superior uniformity of RF heating. Designed, prototyped and tested a new family of electrodes.

• Developed a framework to determine safety of Active Implantable Medical Devices (AIMDs) with leads in MRI RF fields.• As a technical leader, proved conditional safety in the MRI RF field for EnRhythm MRI, the world’s first Implantable Pulse Generator (IPG) system labeled as MRI conditionally safe. Supported regulatory submissions including face-to-face interactions with the FDA.• Created and executed a new approach for designing, optimizing, modeling, and measuring of antennas for AIMDs, which was later used by engineers as a new standard in antenna design. Invented a custom system for measurement of antenna gain pattern for AIMDs, significantly decreasing time and cost of development.• Designed an antenna for the world’s first Implantable Defibrillator with long range telemetry.• Led research on propagation of EM waves in human bodies, and set ground for development of body area networks of AIMDs.• Developed a library of human body models using the volume morphing technique, and enabled collection of a tremendous amount of simulation data corresponding to clinical scenarios in a number of biomedical fields.
