IsiIon was the first commercially available scale out NAS solution successful first in media and entertainment, life sciences then the rest of the market. Isilon's fast growth led to a high valuation acquisition by EMC in December 2010.

NetApp delivered the first commercially available NAS system to the market enjoying explosive growth in the late 1990's and early 2000's. This was the first time capacity and data protection were integrated with a file system making it easy to use as compared file services on multi purpose server or SAN storage.

Arkivio, acquired by Rocket Software, was a first generation, open systems ILM, private software company. It's mission was to identify unused and inappropriately stored data and delete/migrate it to lower cost storage. This optimized tier 1 storage while driving down storage investments. Arkivio was acquired by Rocket Software.

Intransa was one of three IP SAN only companies in 2002. Intransa delivered a next generation, fully virtualized, simple user experience with its' block over Ethernet storage solution.

I represented IBM's entire multi billion dollar storage portfolio that included SAN, NAS and object storage, tape and data reduction technologies.

Pure's obsessive focus on simplicity and never having customers buy the same capacity again has revolutionized the storage industry. MapR, now part of HPE, was a leading, commercially available Hadoop distribution enabling the BigData/machine learning initiatives for companies worldwide. While driving and delivering open source innovation, MapR also offers a unique value proposition with a POSIX, real time file system instead of HDFS unlocking the limits of Hadoop and its' many projects. I closed the most net new accounts and some of the biggest transactions and logo's for the company contributing to its' hypergrowth.
