Sales Development DirectorUpchain Feb 2019 - Jun 2021Toronto, Ontario, CanadaI was relocated from Calgary Alberta to Toronto Ontario to learn and understand the process of "software sales" without having historical bad habits from other organizations. Bringing 15 years of sales experience to the table and relationship building the learning curve was quite short. Within a 8-10 month period I moved quickly from the initial roll of a Business Development Representative, to a SMB Account Executive, to the primary Enterprise Account Executive for the organization. Prior to the Autodesk acquisition of Upchain I brought in approximately 4.5 Million Dollars or ARR (Annually Reoccurring Revenue) in a 12 month period. In the same time period and in parallel I initiated and ran our Lead Generation portal through G2 which increase our traffic by 800%. The result was 100's of inquiries for either a quote request and or a demo request. This initiative took us from 19th place in the Product Data Management category (PDM) to 1st place and from 17th place in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) category to 2nd place in a matter of 9 months.Sales processes and strategies were put in place as best practices for the rest of the team to follow and emulate.
