A small project team was established to look at current business processes, and automated solution of newly acquired company. The project goal was to establish a light version in SAP, reflecting their business processes. This included purchasing, manufacturing, sales and distribution and accounting.My responsibility was to look at their current business processes from a supply chain point of view, and translate these requirements into order management, pricing, incentive, delivery and billing solutions for a sub-team of configurers and programmers. The solution also included, besides resources; time lines, dependencies, and a cut-over plan.Converted Eastman transportation logistics process from a third party logistics provider (Cendian) to an in house ERP solution.
