Due to my Chinese speaking ability and finance and training skills I was recruited across to help a new Chinese financial consultancy and wealth management. This was a start-up so my responsibility was wide-ranging, but included being responsible for recruiting, training and leading a team of Chinese national consultants as we developed business amongst Chinese nationals. We targeted those Chinese with overseas assets and built up an asset management base of foreign currencies.

I was responsible for developing business amongst expatriates in China and managing their overseas assets in the Shanghai office.

I provided business development and market entry services to technology companies targetting the China market. I arranged programs, provided advice, and assisted with market review and entry, trade show attendance. Clients included a wireless technology company and dynamic typesetting company.
