(ii) Coordination and regulatory management in Ecopetrol S.A.: Follow up and be the support for Ecopetrol S.A. in matters of regulatory affairs and coordinate efforts before government agencies to support the process of issuing regulations that impact the Company's products and services, in order to facilitate marketing strategies and in general the commercial activity of Ecopetrol S.A. Achievements: (i) Strategy for the development of the Biodiesel business in Ecopetrol S.A. Structuring of the biodiesel production business at the Barrancabermeja Refinery. (ii) Constitution of Ecodiesel Colombia S.A. (April 19, 2007). (iii) Analysis and presentation of recommendations to the Ministry of Mines and Energy of the Downstream Regulation Proposal for liquid fuels. Result: regulation more in line with the objectives and plans of ECOPETROL S.A. (iv) Analysis and presentation of recommendations to the Regulator (MME) of the Regulation for the Transportation of fuels by Polyducts. (v) Analysis and presentation of recommendations to the Regulator (CREG) regarding the New Regulatory and Tariff Framework for LPG – Liquefied Petroleum Gas. (vi) Preparation of the Diesel Oil Marketing Plan for the year 2005. (vii) Projection of the demand and sales of ECOPETROL liquid fuels and petrochemicals for the year 2005 and 2006. Support in the preparation and revision of the projection demand and sales for the long term (2005-2015).
