Principle and Practice of Insurance, Property & Pecuniary Insurance and Life Assurance Practice in Nigeria.

Principal accountabilities and responsibilities  Planning, Directing and Coordinating Aviation Insurance & Risk Management activities of Arik Air Limited  Overseeing and coordinating activities related to Aircraft Insurance renewal, alterations, extensions and claims processing.  Investigate, control and negotiate recovery of all claims with underwriters, brokers, surveyors, local & foreign loss adjusters, solicitors and third party carriers.  Provides necessary documents required for Reinsurance Brokers tender meeting/presentations at policy inception or renewal.  Obtain, scrutinize and provides re-insurance brokers with details of grounded aircraft for Lay-up adjustment at the end of every insurance period.  Monitor and reconcile Arik Air statement of account with the lead insurer  Liaise with Aviation Regulatory Bodies e.g. NCAA (Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority), FAAN (Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria) on Aviation Insurance matters.
