I work as a FMX developer and educator. FMX is a graphical tool to handle events in the telecom network. In my daily work I design rule logic, implement the design (either remotely or on customer sites) or deliver courses on how to use FMX. The focus with FMX and the service I deliver is to maintain or reduce the OPEX by making the supervision of the telecom network more efficient. The work requires high customer focus and always trying to understand the customer needs to be able to support them in the best way.This includes creating, maintaining (LCM) and updating (CR & CSR) FMX rule packages. I deliver courses on how to use FMX, i.e. 5 day Instructor led classroom training and on-site customized workshops. I also work on other OSS-RC Customizations for various customers.

Systems engineering role (Core-CM Systems, OSS-RC): I prepared Input to Development Plans, analysed products and proposed System Improvements. I researched ahead of the development team, and conduct studies into related work. I conducted and participated in technical committee reviews.

LM Ericsson Limited IrelandSenior Software EngineerWorked as part of a design team and also as a team leader. I have experience with product transfers from one design centre to another. I spent time working with Ericsson in Sweden, Germany and Holland. Configuration Management product (MMCM - Core-CM): The MMCM application was developed in conjunction with a design team based in Sweden. During this development I spent a period of time in Sweden. The part of this was with an Irish development team based in Sweden and the remainder as the Irish point of contact working with the Swedish design team. While working on this product my role involved design, implementation, maintenance and test.

Application Transfer & Development (IMM, Core-CM): I was involved in the product transfer from Ericsson Holland. I was the Team Leader for this period and my role included design, implementation, test, maintenance and 3rd line customer support.

OSS Network Explorer application (ONE, OSS-RC): I worked on the design and implementation of the OSS Network Explorer application (ONE in OSS-RC and CNE in CN-OSS). This is the entry point into the OSS-RC suite of applications. I was part of the team that went to Sweden with this work and worked in conjunction with the group in Sweden. This work involved analysis, design, implementation, test, support and maintenance.
