I work within the enrolments and admissions department at one of the top 3 Hospitality institutions in the world. The school is part of the Laureate Network of Universities. The admissions process is quite unique and this is where I have leveraged my skills in customer service and communications as the recruitment of students is different from standard application processes at the majority of institutions. There is a greater emphasis placed on offering a premium service to potential and current students. This means that there is a lot of communication between myself and Educational Counsellors who are out in the field recruiting students. I build new relationships on a weekly basis that I maintain and grow in order to attract more enrolments for the institution. This is a role that truly enables me to harness my people skills as well as organisational skills as at any one point there are several different stakeholders that I will be dealing with.
