* Designed, developed, tested, deployed, and supported software to control automated guided vehicles in real-time production environments around the world for companies such as Ford, GM, The New York Times, The Plain Dealer, Georgia Pacific, La Voix Du Nord, etc. * Worked with various software applications including: * A C++ server application implementing a JavaScript scripting layer and SQL Server * C#, C++, and VB6 windows client applications and services, web applications, and touch screens * Designed new software, edited existing software, and debugged applications * In charge of software quality assurance for entire division * Created test plans, test cases, automated test scripts, and test matrices * Researched and implemented online issue-tracking system (JIRA) * Created a searchable in-house website for product release information and software documentation

* Responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining email solutions * Developed a new high-availability multi-tenant backend email processing system that is able to handle thousands of clients sending billions of emails per year. This included: * Developing VB.NET / SQL 2008 R2 back-end utilizing technologies such as AppFabric hosted WCF services, SQL Service Broker, and SQL Server Analysis Services to allow for efficient, reliable processing and enhanced reporting on email data * Developing a front-end UI in VB.NET and JavaScript for management and reporting * Developed a middleware email processing system to integrate products with backend system * Developed APIs that are consumed by applications for sending emails * Developed processes to handle and stream large amounts of merge data for each email job

* Developed, supported, and maintained desktop, web, and kiosk ticket, membership, and event management software for nonprofits in the arts and cultural vertical * Technical lead working with an international 3rd party vendor, support, sales and program managers * Led the technical development effort and worked with auditor and a 3rd party vendor to bring these products to PCI and PA-DSS compliance * Developed payment integrations with companies such as PCCharge, Moneris, and Smart-TPS * Improved system performance (e.g. addressed login times in Patron Edge online, reducing them from over 40 seconds to under 1 second) * Fixed several high-profile issues for clients and traveled onsite to restore confidence * Developed and managed Installshield builds for these products * Ran the developer session at the Blackbaud conference in 2009 for the Patron Edge
