Formed and led cross-functional teams across marketing, operations, analog/digital design, CAD and library development, physical design, packaging, silicon fab, test engineering, and product engineering functions - driving entire semiconductor product lifecycle of several ASIC chips.As the product owner for all derivatives of the Sony PlayStation-2 I/O Processor, directly coordinated with the customer on project planning, scheduling, deliverable and milestone reviews to secure high quality and on-time product delivery to meet customer’s worldwide launch requirements. Achieved more than $1 billion in annual revenue through landmark shipments of more than 100 million units for the PlayStation-1 and PlayStation-2 chips. Consistently achieved less than 50 PPM defects in customer systems by careful designing, manufacturing, and testing.Drove activities relating to product architecture, design engineering, test engineering, product engineering, yield improvement, failure analysis, defect reduction, and overall product quality. Led company-wide projects for cost reduction of high-volume ASICs. Achieved up to 50% die size and body size reduction through silicon process and packaging technology migration.
