Participations reporting and audit

Identified employees with high risk past due BSA trainings and streamlined the current training tracking process with an automated daily risk report to develop effective internal controls and mitigate associated risks of employees not completing their BSA training on time. Served as the Learning Management System (LMS) administrator for 3,000+ employees utilized to distribute BSA training material and track training progress. Analyze and track BSA training assignments by validating training reports with other sources of data to maintain information integrity. Communicated findings from report validations to management and assist with internal and external FRB audit examinations. Facilitated with other ad hoc projects such as on boarding new hires, maintaining record and confidentiality of open requisitions for our department, attending biweekly phone call meetings with our Hong Kong and China headquarters, and helping the OFAC team PEP screen 153,000+ customer alerts.

* Independently develop monthly financial reports to maintain reliable budgets, track employer spending and for forecasting. * Cross-verify multiple transactions with supporting documentation to update expense reports for financial decision making. * Correct general ledger accounts by completing 2,000+ rows of non-cost transfer data to reconcile budgets for the closing fiscal year. * Send requests for invoices, medical orders, wire transfers, and authorize purchase orders. * Document processes and train incoming interns.

* Evaluated homework assignments and test scores, and worked with students through questions that the were not answered correctly. * Supervised and monitored students during after school programs and planned enrichment activities.

* Process 1099 forms using TurboTax software. The process began with data entry into CTUIT software, auditing tax returns, request information via phone calls for data entry purposes, and then mailing out the 1099 Copy B to the recipient. * Identified payment variances by reconciling bank statements between JL Freight and individual vendors (e.g. Amazon) and cross-referencing our company's database with received invoices. * Conduct research and review carrier packets to complete deposit slips and audit a customer's carrier insurance, address, and billing statements. * Used Quick Books to reconcile bank statements and update the database system. * Entered data of carrier packets and shipment information into our company’s database and created excel charts to organize financial information.

* 3 months internship * Performed analytical audits of departmental expenses and payroll, and obtained explanations and documentation for significant variances from data gathered. * Organized and analyzed 380,000+ rows of voucher data from current fiscal year within UC Riverside using excel (in-cell formulas, Pivot, VLOOKUP). * Assisted auditors in the performance of consulting and advisory services to enhance departmental effectiveness and efficiency. * Assorted internal audits with operational and financial audits and suggest improvements.
