•As Advertising Chair- promoted Circle K and the fundraisers, as well as all Circle K events. Attended every event and recruited new members. In charge of getting everything needed for events approved by the school. •As a member, we held many fundraisers to link JHU with the Baltimore community. Volunteering as judges for children's halloween contests, fundraising to purchase gifts to give to children in the middle schools, filling eggs with candy and then volunteering for Easter celebrations. Other activities included reading to elderly, cooking meals with families of children at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, etc.

•Assisted attorneys with preparation for litigation cases including transcribing confidential audio files and pulling highly confidential court documents and criminal history•Completed intakes of potential clients and inputted them into ProLaw•Researched the implementation of holistic defense and its ability to lower recidivism rates

•Connected low-income families with resources such as housing, health insurance, food assistance, assistance with utilities, employment services and more. Worked with highly confidential information mainly in Spanish•Volunteer of the Month: Received award for great client interaction and persistence with cases. For working well independently as well as seeking advice from others and having successful cases•Completed a fellowship during the Summer of 2011 with Health Leads as well in NYC. Worked with a mainly Spanish population doing the same work. Also led a resource team to update our resource database for all three locations- Baltimore, New York City and Boston.

•Worked both at the Welcome Desk and in the Equipment Room. Scanned people at the entrance and allowed entrance only to those with membership. Called emergency unit in case of injuries. Scanned out equipment for members and made reservations for courts. Washed and folded towels.

•6 week clinic for children from ages 6 to 13.•Led exercises and taught children basics of tennis. With more advanced children we worked on postures and played one on one games to build on their strengths. •Managed all paperwork that contained confidential information such as health insurance details and children’s addresses and phone numbers. Ensured safety of over 50 kids - including monitoring allergies.
