* · Facilitated student navigation of resources offered to LGBTQ+ community members by the university, in the surrounding Boston area, and in co-op locations with specific focus on healthcare-related resources · Spoke with incoming students regarding resources and community engagement at Northeastern during admitted student and orientation events · Developed LGBTQ+ outreach and education events for pre-health students, coordinated with speakers and student groups for on-campus events, and managed supervisor's schedule of meetings

· Currently learning under Dr. Veronique VanderHorst MD/PhD studying neurodegenerative pathology in the human brainstem in order to identify and characterize gait- and respiration-related regions, and Dr. Krutika Joshi PhD studying paradigms of sleep apnea · Process scans of human brainstem slices for analysis in densitometry macros and perform manual pathology counts of Neurofibrillary Tangles and Lewy Bodies · Responsible for collecting and organizing data from the analysis of 40+ human brainstems · Analyzing and scoring EEG, EMG, and plethysmograph signal recordings of transgenic mice for periods of NREM/REM sleep and active/quiet wake · Conduct literature searches and summarize current research on anatomical regions of the brainstem for use in future lab publications and present this research in weekly project meetings
