At 5S Technologies, I am a Full Stack React Software Engineer. In this capacity, I assist in the construction of front and backend architecture that is attentive to fundamental CS principles such as modularity, separation of concerns, and cybersecurity.5S Technology enables data parity in labor markets through its complementary products, Automated Contract Enforcement (A•C•E) mobile app and A•C•E for Unions web app. Using A•C•E, labor organizations can more effectively and efficiently execute their two primary missions: Negotiate better pay, benefits and working conditions for their members; and enforce those hard-won provisions of a contract.

The Clinic for Open Source Arts (COSA) Community Leaders 2020 program is funded by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Knight Foundation at the University of Denver. As 1 of 10 selected "Community Leaders", I helped lead the development of community-centered, open-source tools. The goal of the program is to empower people to build new communities or step into existing ones with the tools and skills to guide those communities. The program consists of several weeks of online training with several days of in-person workshops hosted by COSA in Denver Colorado, USA.

p5.js is a JavaScript library for creative coding, with a focus on making coding accessible and inclusive for artists, designers, educators, beginners, and anyone else! p5.js is free and open-source in order to make software and the tools to learn it accessible to everyone. As a P5 project lead, I led the p5.js project, software, and community by creating generative spaces to gather, speak up, and participate. In this capacity, I led the p5.js community by managing and directing the community of p5.js volunteers, spearheading software development, and maintaining the p5js.org website. I also worked with the Processing Foundation to select annual Fellows and Google Summer of Code Participants.

As a Learning Coordinator at 9 Dots, I taught 24 computer science classes a week throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area ultimately reaching a total of over 800 students in two years. I also assisted 48 teachers throughout their professional development as it related to computer science education, providing 1:1 support with educators across the Los Angeles Unified School District, the Compton Unified School District, and various charter schools. As an educator myself, I hold a CSAT score of 4.9 out of 5 and regularly led community events for families, parents, and principals.
