Radiopharmacy TechnicianCurium Pharma ['Sep 2019', 'Apr 2024']London• I have been employed by Curium Pharma as a Radiopharmacy Technician. • This is a shift based role that involves starting times are 6 am to 3 pm as well as 7 am to 4 pm.I manufacture various types of isotope doses using negative pressure isolators• As part my quality investigation , I perform Endotoxin analysis on the Galium isotope batch sample using the Charles River Nexgen-ms software as well as the ITLC chromotographic analysis of the same batch sample with the use of the Agilent Technologies Affinity 1260 device. .The other duties include packaging of up Radiopharmacy isotopes in cases and bags which are to be delivered to the external clients as well as internal clients by using the online software called Veenstra.• Performing of blood Glomerular Filtrate Radioactivity assessment of patients administered the DTPA isotope by using a gamma data analysing programme, performed on the patient’s blood samples.• Discarding of radiopharmaceutical waste. . Apart from the above, I also assist in environmental monitoring of the grade A isolators using MAS air sampler and also particle count sampler. I also document temperatures, radiation levels, calibrate weighing scales and isotope calibrators as per rota which has equipped me with good documentation skills.
