Leading the development of training materials for the Making Peace Operations More Effective (MPOME) project, and spearheading the integration of gender perspective to arms and ammunition control/ management in peace support operations. Working on ways to strengthen the implementation of the Women Peace and Security agenda, and exploring cross-sectional issues.

Worked in the External Relations Team within the Office of the Assistant to the Director-General in Health Security and Environment, contributing to the mapping project of the Resource Mobilization and Partnership Team , supporting the coordination of technical donor reporting and gathering information from various technical teams.

Supported research activities under the umbrella project Nepal Armed Violence Assessment, including work on armed violence, security perceptions, illicit arms trafficking, and sexual and gender-based violence. Assisted with and later guided the development survey instruments and other data collection methods, and co-authored reports and other publications.

* Broad range of research and program activities on gender, the proliferation of small arms and light weapons (SALW), and combating armed violence. Supporting the integration of a gender perspective in the Making Peace Operations More Effective project, and the development of targeted training materials for the prevention and mitigation of diversion and SALW circulation; conducting and directing research (including developing data collection strategies) and performing analysis on a wide range of issues related to SALW proliferation, gender and armed violence.
