With an aim to delivering outstanding technical solutions to insurance companies globally, I manage the quality control and software testing phase of the project life cycle. Ensuring that requirements are understood, and delivered to a high level within the final product.

Delivering outstanding customer service to our clients was the underlying aim of this role. Communicating with members of the public to deliver insurance,which meets their needs and provides valuable cover. My role entailed working with several different Insurance products such as travel insurance, life insurance and pet insurance. The latter part of my position involved working within the annuity team quoting and selling guaranteed lifetime annuities on a non advised basis.

Working within the Service Team of an Express Underwriting department, my role was to manage a team of schedulers who worked with both agents and the public to ensure insurance applications were scheduled and completed in a timely manner. A knowledge of insurance companies underwriting and IT systems was essential in order to run this team. Along with effective communication and people management. Holding regular team meetings, one to ones and completing team appraisals, resolving customer queries and complaints handling were also a key parts of my role.

Helping to manage a very busy sales team, my role was to keep the team on track with call auditing and team training. Managing KPI's and liaising with the team manager to ensure we were meeting the required targets and delivering the best service possible.
