In this role I was responsible for building out a leadership giving program to help sustain the $11 million annual fundraising needs. This was accomplished without alumni, parents, local constituents given the school is located in one of the poorest counties in the United States, with an unemployment rate of 85%. The school charges tuition of $100 per year. In addition, I led the Campaign for Red Cloud Indian School to provide financial support for deferred maintenance, programs, personnel needs. Raised an additional $14 million in twenty-four months outside of the annual fundraising needs. Developed the campaign strategic plan, (3P’s) and was responsible for all master planning for the school’s two campuses. Worked on team that solicited a $4 million, $2.6 million and two $1 million gifts, as well as numerous six figure gifts. School realized largest amount of philanthropic support in its history in 2018-2019.

Appointed first lay Headmaster in the school’s 103 year history. Maintained and enhanced both the Catholic and Xaverian identity of the school through expansion of the school’s Campus Ministry program achieving 90% student voluntary participation on a yearly basis in global service programs, Kairos, and other retreat programs while also instituting faculty formation programs. Recently completed two fund raising initiatives which realized $34 million for capital improvements, endowed scholarships, and support for operating budget. Developed mature advancement program, which included regional alumni receptions, $1.2 million annual fund, and capital giving programs. Spearheaded 100,000 sq. ft. renovation project and 50,000 sq. ft. of new construction. Maintained an enrollment of approximately 1,000 high school students during this time period.

Responsible for the development and supervision of the freshmen program of studies. Provided support for faculty professional development including supervision and evaluation of classes. Coordinated program for Faculty Formation as educators in a Xaverian Brothers Sponsored School. Assisted Headmaster with recruitment of prospective ninth graders. Member of team which obtained an $8,000,000 bond.

Responsible for raising $6,000,000 operating budget for the four schools and sixteen parishes under the Jesuit run school. Coordinated the solicitation of donors, the identification of major prospects for annual giving and capital campaign. Aided in the development of the Mission’s Strategic Plan and Case Statement. Directed the Planned Giving section of Development efforts. Instrumental in sharing the mission and vision of Red Cloud Indian School, Inc. with constituency.
