During this temporary contract I worked closely with the Affiliate Marketing Manager by generating SEO content for two major networks and over 80 websites owned by Delta Force Paintball. The content was B2C, which meant I had to conduct keyword research with industry standard tools like Google Adwords to improve ranking in search engines. I also wrote blog posts for the company’s website and even handled a couple of media tasks on behalf of Delta Force.

My responsibilities involved providing active support to the Account Director and Account Manager on the Fujifilm, Mimaki and Meech International accounts. This would involve updating work in progress lists on a weekly basis, drafting and distributing case studies and press releases, as well as liaising both with clients and editors of magazines covering the UK and European print industry. I was also a member of the in-house social media team, for which my duties involved sharing content from the agency's Twitter profile. During my time in this role, I also completed a foundation course with the PRCA (Public Relations Consultants Association).

The responsibilities involved in this editorial role included writing and sending out press releases and maintaining relationships with a large number of media outlets.My press releases were published in various IT publications, such as .Net, Test Magazine and Business Computing World. I was also required to improve traffic and SEO for the company's website and regularly update the company's blog.

I held the position of copywriter, which involved writing and proofreading articles for the company newsletter.

During this two-week internship I delivered a number of Blu-ray and game reviews for Official Playstation Magazine, as well as providing a selection of screen-grabs and help create the magazine’s monthly entertainment plan. A range of my work was published in issues #058, #059, #60 and #61 of OPM.

During this two-week internship I compiled stop press, transcribed interviews and contacted advertisers for Venue magazine, whilst also writing feature articles on wedding fashion for Folio magazine (published in issue #194).

I played a key part in leading campus tours during visit days. This job also involved team work, public speaking and being a point of contact for visitors on site. My knowledge of foreign languages proved helpful with over-seas visitors.

In this two-week internship I conducted a number of tasks for three different publications (Imagine, University Caterer, Bristol Property Live), including online research, proof-reading, phone interviews and feature writing. My news and feature articles were subsequently published online and in print.

My role evolved from being a reactive one to pro-actively spotting editorial opportunities for my clients operating in the print and packaging sectors (Domino and Meech International) in the relevant media titles. I also provided physical support at UK and European trade shows (Interpack, Labelexpo Europe, Packaging Innovations), where I would set up 1-2-1 briefings between the media and my clients. As a member of the in-house social media team, my new responsibility was to set up and maintain the company Google+ account, as well as advise clients on the best practice for utilising the social platform for business.

In my current role I oversee the day-to-day management of my key accounts, while also retaining some of the responsibilities held as an SAE (media liaison, coverage fulfilment, trade show support). My routine tasks involve cultivating media and client relationships, monitoring the time vs budget spend on the accounts I am responsible for (Domino, Meech International, Brett Martin), forecasting and allocating activities for my team, mentoring two AEs, producing authoritative content for placement in the media, as well as give presentations or take part in the occasional new business pitch.
